Role:

We're seeking an exceptional founding recruiter who will be instrumental in building our team's future. As our first recruiter joining a 5-person team, you'll shape our hiring processes and culture from the ground up. We're at a critical growth stage and need someone who can both strategize and execute at the highest level (top 1-2% of recruiters)

• You're excited by the challenge of building diverse, high-performing teams in the AI/ML space
• You have a proven track record of independently sourcing and closing top-tier technical talent
• You take a first-principles approach to recruiting, questioning conventional practices and creating innovative solutions to attract exceptional candidates
• You're deeply analytical about hiring metrics and processes, but understand that quality always trumps quantity
• You thrive in high-intensity environments and are comfortable being hands-on with every aspect of recruiting, from sourcing to closing

What you'll do:

• Build relationships with candidates through deep understanding of their motivations and our technical needs
• Partner closely with the founding team to understand our unique culture and technical requirements
• Source and nurture relationships with passive candidates who align with our values and technical bar
• Create strategies to build our employer brand and presence in the AI/ML community

• You have been part of an early stage tech startup before or have been an operator/founder for a company.

We are a small, intense, and well-funded team in San Francisco who push ComfyUI and its ecosystem forward. Our team comes from Stability AI and Google and many contributed to the ComfyUI ecosystem way before working here.

Our organization is flat and there is no hierarchy, only categories: dev, arts, prod, ops, etc (and no, there is no one here with the title of Member of Technical Staff, it’s long and silly for a job title).
